Close ups - Henry VIII (Holbein), Marilyn (Warhol), Van Gogh, Rembrandt - acrylic on canvases - I made these with children at Shortbrook Primary a few years ago - I did some printmaking with a range of ages there the other day and was glad to see they were still up.

I did this with the children at Brunswick Primary last Easter. A year 6 pupil designed it, I sketched it onto 16 canvases and kids from each year group painted it. Now hangs in dining hall. It was really intended to hang vertically but for practical reasons went sideways.
In a Year 2 classroom, Mrs Gibson was really worried. "Sniff. I'm really worried because we don't know about superheroes!" But Mrs Roberts was on the case! "RING, RING." "Excuse me, but could you find me anyone who knows about superheroes?"....And Mr Chatterton came into do SUPERHERO artwork with the y2 children. "Hi....I'm Mr Chatterton!" "Hooray, we've always wanted to learn about superheroes and do superhero artwork!"
Work done with year two children at Woodseats Primary, Spring 2012. Around 60 acrylic paintings on canvas.
